Make a Difference

A cancer diagnosis often leads to a difficult treatment plan.  Many suffer; emotionally, psychologically, and of course, physically.   Lauren had a vision — to ease some of that suffering with just a little bit of comfort.   And while she never complained, her vision to ease the pain of treatment, not for herself, but for others, was always on her mind.   We now in Lauren's name hope to bring that vision and mission to life.

Love From Lauren, a foundation created in memory of Lauren Kaufman will exist to benefit many causes close to Lauren's heart.  In the spirit of providing comfort, we would like to produce comfortable, cozy blankets for cancer centers to ease the suffering of other patients.  It is Lauren's way of sending her love to those facing treatment each day, even though she is no longer with us. In addition, we are funding two scholarships - one at Lauren’s alma matter and one at her daughters’ - as well as Lift from Lauren, a program to provide subsidized rides to those in need.
