Cancer treatment takes a toll on patients, physically and emotionally, but can also create a burden. The Love from Lauren Foundation is proud to launch a new project, Lift from Lauren. Lift from Lauren, a partnership with GoGoGrandparent and the Lynn Cancer Institute at Boca Raton Hospital, will provide patients with safe, convenient, complementary rides to the Infusion Center so they can focus on what really matters, their treatment. Nobody should have to worry about how they will get to their next infusion, only how to get through it. Prior to her own diagnosis, Lauren selflessly volunteered as a driver for the American Cancer Society to take chemo patients to treatment. While their program no longer exists, we hope this new program will relieve patients and families by making this otherwise difficult process a bit easier.
